I've spent the whole night, from around 9pm to 9am, on the nearby street listening and recording how the sounds quiet down eventually and everything goes to sleep. But nothing of the sort really happened, there was never silence.
This is how many people live now. There is no time when cars are absent, when construction workers are not on a job, when street lights are off. There is no real night in a big city. Our sleep allowed us to get used to all the noise that never goes away.

This is a slightly processed field recording. Best to listen either loudly or on good quality headphones. Please note there is an abundance of strong low frequencies, mind your speakers.
Tracks are split due to bandcamp file limit size.
